+ 2 Importer Security Filing Important Reminder

We at East-West Logistics want to remind you that the "phased-in" compliance period for this regulation has less than three weeks before it becomes effective. On January 26, 2010 Customs & Border Protection will make this filing mandatory with substantial fines for non-compliance. While many of you have begun to file your ISF 10 + 2 information, many of you still need to better coordinate your effort. In addition and even more concerning is that many of you have not filed at all. The time to implement this process for your organization is now. If you have not started to file, you urgently need to do so immediately.
East-West
can assist you in filing ISF 10 + 2 on your behalf. We have over the last
seven months gained a great deal of experience in the filing of ISF 10 + 2
and fully understand the mistakes that many importers are making and can make
suggestions as to how to avoid those mistakes. We strongly suggest that you
contact us as soon as possible and let us help you successfully complete your
security filings before the deadline is here.
Unfortunately
this filing process has a real cost of labor to perform this service. As noted
previously East-West Logistics, Inc. and East-West Associates, Inc. would
initiate a nominal fee for this service effective May 1st, 2009. Please note

per filing)
$1.50
- Additional Classification Fee - per additional classification for filings
that have 11 or more classifications
