East China Fair is co-sponsored by the governments of nine provinces and cities, namely Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Nanjing and Ningbo. ECF is held in Shanghai New International Expo Center on March 1st to 5th every year.
Initiated in 1991, ECF has been held in Shanghai every March for 22 sessions. East China Fair is a specialized commodity fair for garments; textiles and light wares, facilitated import and export trade. There are four specialized exhibition areas, namely Fashion/Garments, Home Textiles, Consumer Goods and Art Deco Gifts.
ECF focuses on displaying China’s exported products in light industry, textiles and special goods with new materials and technology. ECF is the first international economy and trade fair being held every year in China and also an important window for the information of the developmental orientation of the light industrial and textiles in China and the world.
The 22nd East China Fair had an exhibition area of 115,000sqm with 3,420 exhibitors from domestic and overseas countries. It had 21,124 business visitors from 128 countries, as well as 22,000 domestic visitors. The trade volume amounted to about 3.122 billion US dollars.
East China Fair has become the largest regional trade fair in China with the most traders, great variety of exhibits and the most onsite deals. East China Fair is an important platform for the communication and the cooperation of the Chinese and foreign coworker in light industry and textiles. It is also an important bridge for overseas enterprises entering Chinese market.
ECF will upgrade the level of the participants, expand the client network, standardize the exhibition order, protect the intellectual property rights, perfect the service system, create a good circumstance for negotiation, make it to an internationally famous brand fair.
